Diggy was created to solve a common challenge for dogs – finding the right furry friends to socialise with. Not every dog is suited to every environment and owners often struggle to find safe, compatible playmates based on temperament, age or breed.

Diggy was designed to focus on the dogs first – helping match them with others that suit their personality and energy levels, making playtime safer, more enjoyable and more meaningful. It creates a better social experience for dogs, where they can connect, play, and thrive.

Finding Friends

The app includes a ‘Find Friends’ feature designed to match dogs based on what really matters – breed, personality, age, location and energy level. Using smart filters, you can refine the search to find the most compatible playmates nearby. Potential matches appear based on your location, allowing you to swipe left or right to find the right fit. When there’s a match, you can connect and view each other’s puppy profiles and organise playtime – making it easy for dogs to meet friends that truly suit them, without making it awkward for owners.

Based on your current location, you can easily find everything your dog needs – especially when you’re away from home. From dog-friendly parks and cafes to stores, restaurants and more, the app helps you discover nearby spots that welcome you and your dog wherever you go.

Even better, you can also see connected doggy friends if they check in at a location near you to organise a spontaneous doggy play date.

Newsfeed & Events

The app also features a personalised newsfeed, highlighting events and activities nearby that suit your dog’s profile and needs. You can share updates about your furry friend directly within the app, all from your dog’s profile – no more awkward Instagram or Facebook messages. Plus, built-in messaging makes it easy to connect and chat with your dog’s new friends in one place without having to give out your number.

Diggy is supported by a powerful web portal that gives full control over the platform and its community. Administrators can create and manage events, monitor activity across the newsfeed, add places and ensure a safe environment by managing user access – including the ability to restrict or ban users in cases of inappropriate behaviour.

The dashboard also provides access to reporting and data insights, giving visibility into user activity, engagement, and growth. By centralising everything in one place, the system makes it easy to manage, moderate and scale the platform with confidence.
